ROLE DESCRIPTIONMelissa Snively - State Farm Agent is seeking an organized and outgoing Summer College Intern to support insurance agents in gaining and keeping customers and fulfill administrative duties in the office. As a Summer College Intern - State Farm Agent Team Member with our agency, your attention to detail, dedication to customer relations, and sales-mindedness equip you for this versatile position. RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist the business goals of the insurance agency with mutually agreed upon expectations.
  • Make outgoing calls to prospective and current customers to offer products and services from our agency.
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service.
  • Assist with inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
  • Assist team with administrative tasks and responsibilities to maintain the office.
  • Use effective communication skills to meet the needs of customers while promoting the development of our business.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • To be eligible for an internship, you must be a full-time student currently enrolled in an undergraduate or post-graduate program throughout the duration of the internship.
  • Coursework or expressed interest in areas such as Insurance, Financial Services, Real Estate, Marketing, etc. is preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as operate independently.
  • Exemplary interpersonal skills, including the ability to create, build, and maintain relationships with internal and external parties.
  • Prioritization, time management, and organizational skills to meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.

Compensation $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
